To solve dependency issues, and because minor updates to the GSL code were required, this package directly includes slightly modified GSL code (rather than treating GSL as a dependency) with appropriate authorship listed in the code.

Additionally, a minimum version of a BAM file (approximately 700 reads) has been processed from the 1,000 Genomes dataset <https://www.internationalgenome.org/data-portal/sample>.
